Preference will be given to equally qualified women candidates. Background The Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria (hereinafter GFATM) and the United Nations Development Programme in Liberia (hereinafter UNDP) signed three agreements for program implementation in the Republic of Liberia in June 2004. Within the framework of the Agreements, the UNDP was designated as the Principal Recipient (PR). In accordance with its role, UNDP is responsible for the procurement of drugs and medical supplies for the treatment and management of Malaria, Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS in the country. The National drugs Service (NDS) provides storage facility for these drugs and medical supplies. The supply chain management of these items needs to be ensured for proper management and reporting to the donor. Duties and responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Global Fund Program Manager the Field Monitor/pharmacist will perform the follow duties: Monitor the delivery of drugs and medical supplies procured
for the Global Fund EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: A Pharmacist with knowledge in drugs/supply chain management. Minimum of three years working experience in drugs and supply chain management in a hospital or drugs storage and distribution center. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Must have good knowledge of pharmaceutical products and their
