New UNDP Country Director arrives in LiberiaSep 16, 2013
Monrovia: The United Nations Development Programme in Liberia now has a new Country Director.
Dr. Kamil Kamaluddeen, who comes from Nigeria, has over 15 years working experience with the United Nations, with his most recent service as Country Director in Ghana, before being appointed to Liberia.
He also served as Economics Advisor and Head of the Strategy and Policy Unit, UNDP Liberia, from 2002 – 2008.
Dr. Kamaluddeen has extensive professional, academic, administrative knowledge and experience.
He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Cross-sector Partnerships from the Cambridge University, a PhD in Economics from the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria, a M.Sc in Accounting from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, and a B.Sc. (First Class Honors) in Management Studies from the University of Sokoto, Nigeria.
He replaces Mr. Dominic Sam who now goes to Ghana as Country Director after serving five years as Country Director in Liberia.
