The Liberia WASH Compact
The WASH Compact is a two-year action plan that maps out four priority areas which will ensure that the citizens of Liberia have access to safe, clean water and improved sanitation facilities.
- Once established, the National Water Resources and Sanitation Board (NWRSB) will be responsible for providing oversight on WASH sector policy, strategy, planning, technical support and coordination
- The findings from the capacity development needs assessment have been used to develop a WASH Sector Capacity Development Plan, 2012-17, with costing and a monitoring, reporting and evaluation framework.
- The Liberia WASH website continues to provide a means through which communications from meetings and policy documents can be shared
